Firstly we are thrilled to announce that we'll be working in partnership with the legendary Sheffield based WARP Films on curating a special program of moving image work to be shown in our freshly christened 'pop up' cinema. We aim to screen a selection of rarities alongside favourites from their vast archive, more details on this soon but it promises to be pretty special.

Constellations’ resident art director / designer Michael Connolly (Studio xiiixiii) is currently putting together a quality roster of talented illustrators and designers who have been commissioned to create a poster in response to the theme 'Constellations' especially for the event. These artworks will be exhibited on the day and also available for purchase as part of a special, limited edition newspaper which will accompany this year’s festival. Confirmed artists are below:
Accept & Proceed / Box-head* / Bruce Usher / Everyday Something / Lisa Harker / Mike Lemanski / Narcsville / Peter O'Toole / Qubik / Red Design / Studio Tonne / Tom Hudson (PABH) / UNIT / Yehteh / Yukiko

Studio xiiixiii are also working on this year’s visuals and stage sets, cards are pretty close to the chest at the moment, but we’ve been discussing some pretty spectacular ideas involving projection mapping, keep checking back for further updates.
Last year’s gig poster exhibition was a huge success and we look forward to welcoming some of the artists back for 2011 together with a handful of new exhibitors. We’ll also make sure we have some spare bulbs for the live screen printing this year ; )

As well as giving an overview of all the bands and everything that's happening at this year's event, we commissioned fifteen exceptional studios and illustrators to create a poster based on the theme 'Constellations'.
The newspaper can be kept as it is, or broken down into these individual artworks — give them a quick once over with a warmish dry iron (no steam!) on the back and they are ready for hanging / framing.
